The Roman Snail is hermaphroditic, meaning that both male and female sexual organs are present in the same individual.

The mating takes several hours and sometimes even a day !
(wish I was a Roman Snail......)

Dutch name : Wijngaardslak
German name : Weinbergschnecke
Latin name : Helix pomatia
