THE MINES OF MONTEVECCHIO, SARDiNIA - NOW ONLY A HISTORY!
This is one of the oldest mining industry sites in all of Italy. It is situated near the Piscinas dunes and the stunningly beautiful beaches of Costa Verde in Sardinia, Italy. Presently became a Mining Park Museum for tourists and protected by the UNESCO.

picture and story are excellent -if ony the yukon mines had been treated the same way ...
