the theatre is carved into the side of the mountain at the foot of the High Place of Sacrifice and can accommodate 4000 spectators ... the back wall was rebuilt by the Romans when they later occupied Petra ...

Oh, hier gibt's auch wieder ganz Viel zu entdecken!
Die Farben der Felsen und Steine sind einfach wunderbar und das Licht lässt sie herrlich leuchten!
Diese Bauten in der enormen Größe sind einfach atemberaubend....

Eine sehr gute Aufnahme... mich erinnert das Theater auch an die in Griechenland oder auch in der Türkei .
In vielen findet man sie, eine sehr interessante Aufnahme.

Ja natürlich ein Theater darf doch auf keinen Fall fehlen. Ein Teil davon erinnert mich ein bißchen an ein griechisches Amphitheater aus. Ein faszinierendes Bild.
