IF YOU DON'T CONSIDER THE FACT THAT IT SMELLS LIKE BLOOD AND, IN FACT, BLOOD FLOWS DOWN THRU DOWNTOWN STREETS DUE TO THE EXTREME INNER VIOLENCE THAT'S AWAKEN IN THE HEART OF THE CITY - BY SOCIAL AND POLITICAL CAUSES - ALSO SPREADING ITS EXPLODING VEINS THRU THE SUBURBAN AREAS ALL OVER THE CITY!
BUT IF YOU'RE AN OPTIMIST YOU CAN DIG THIS SHOT TAKEN 16 KMS. FAR FROM RIO - ONE OF THESE DAYS - IN MY HOMETOWN, NITEROI, WHEN I PUT MY FEET OFF THE FERRYBOAT THAT I WAS COMING BACK HOME IN, AND I JUST LOOKED BACK! WATCH THE COLOR OF THE SEA..! ISN'T "INSANE"?
NIKON COOLPIX 5700 WITH ZOOM EQUIVALENT TO 35MM IN 35MM FORMAT. f 8, SPEED 1/8 (HANDHELD), "A" PRIORITY, FOCUS AT INFINITY. NO "TRICKS", JUST MOTHER NATURE GAVE A LITTLE HELP!
P.S. I DON'T USE TO PUT THE HORIZON LINE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FRAME, BUT IN THIS CASE I HAD THREE OPTIONS: MIDDLE, HIGH & LOW FRAMING! I CHOOSE THE FIRST TO ENPHASIZE THE BLOOD-LIKE WATER. SO I PLEDGE MYSELF TO MY MASTERS FOR THIS COMPOSITION ERROR!
