volunteer is our supper, the fresh slaughtered goat...
People might be annoyed that I put a picture like that,
but in the african context, this is just too normal and not disgusting at all.
For me it is just documentary of our work.
.. and sorry to say, I did not find any fitting section...
Anyway, this was the goat we shared at my "house-warming-party" when my mud hut was done. Since it was dead already we used it for a refresher-traing with local healers....

*lol*ja, der Ziegenbock wurde ungefähr 6x kastriert, bekam diverse Injektionen (subkutan, intrymuskulär etc) und anschliessend wurde obduziert: Organe benannt, Funktionen, Suche nach Würmern und anderen Parasiten etc. -war lustig. Interessanterweise ist das Verhältnis Mann/Frau bei den traditionellen Heilern etwa 1 zu 8 und so hatten wir jede Menge wissbegierige Frauen und ein paar Männer. Die Dynamik in den Trainingsgruppen ist immer toll. Es machte Spass und das Tollste: anschliessend hat es uns richtig gut geschmeckt!
