A busy scene with ca. 1500 people running into the icy waters of English Bay in Vancouver - snow on the ground, a cold wind in the air.
We watched from our sailboat anchored in the bay rocking up and down and my fingers freezing. This was my first day back from sunny Mexico.

Greetings to all - it's good to be back!

Viele der Schwimmer wollen nur noch möglichst schnell weg, was ich gut verstehen kann. Wirklich eine etwas verrückte Art, in's neue Jahr zu starten!

That is a big turn out for the Polar Bear plunge, we only get about 15-20 people to jump into Lake Erie. It looks as if you had to swim a ways out to get this shot! Lol.
