Wer weiß, wer ich bin???? ( austalian 2008)

This picture of a Numbat (Ameisenbeutler ,Deutche name) i took in the zoo , because thats almost the only way to see them for real :+((
The project in the Zoo was : every year they putt a couple of Numbats free in nature that was the reason i vissit them there.
Current estimates (in the year 2000) vary between 900 and 2000 numbats left in the wild.

There are kangaroos in one of the two Zoos of Berlin ("Tierpark") looking quite similar

Hab eben erst den Bilduntertext entdeckt
– oder war der vorhin noch gar nicht da? –
ein Numbat ist es also, ein Ameisenbeutler.
Hübsches kleines Ding. Da hab ich wieder was gelernt. :-))
