Where's My Mum?

A lone seal on the beach at Walberswick, Suffolk. I was concerned it may still need its mother but i needn't have worried because after research I found that they are only reliant on mum while they still have their white baby coat. I went back the next day and it had gone.

…and judging from the happy smile ; ) on his face, he doesn't miss her much either! what a cute pose of the young seal and what a beautiful picture of him! the "smile" and the huge eyes, of course, are very moving, but my favorite details are: 1. the hand-like flipper and how it's pressed it to his side 2. the pinched together tail fin reminding me of a closed shell! ; ) greetings, sabine.
