White Daphne
White Daphne is a small but strong winter hardy shrub with generally upright stems.
In late winter (february – march), it has fragrant clusters of creamy white flowers, followed by yellow berries in autumn.
Dutch name : Wit Peperboompje
German name : Weisser Seidelbast
Latin name : Daphne mezereum alba

I dedicate these blossoms to the 22 Belgian schoolchildren who died yesterday in Switzerland.
