White Rhino

Das White Rhino (Breitmaulnashorn) ist zwar seltener als das Black Rhino (Spitzmaulnashorn) aber häufiger zu sehen, da es als Grasfresser das offene Gelände bevorzugt während das Black Rhino als Laubfresser vorzugsweise im dichten Busch lebt.
Man beachte die Fliegen, die sich sofort auf jede noch so kleine Wunde stürzen. Hier ist der Oxpecker dann sofort zur Stelle. Eine ideale Partnerschaft.

Aufgenommen im Ilfolozi NP/Südafrika im Oktober 2011.

The white rhino is rarer than the black Rhino but can be seen more often because it is a grass-eater and lives in the open area. The black rhino is a leaf-eater and lives more in the dense bush.
Pay attention to the flies which rush immediately to every even smallest wound. Then the oxpecker comes into action immediately. An ideal partnership.
