Sobre mi
Born in Merano (South Tyrol – Italy) Nalini’s unique Italian style, passion and flair has seen his work featured in Italian and Australian magazines and books. Recently, his work was featured in an eight page spread in the prestigious “photography + cool culture” magazine Black + White.
Based in Sydney since 2002, Gino Nalini has built a strong photographic portfolio that includes art, culture, music, events, lifestyle, fashion and people.
Nalini’s experience and great passion for travel, people and photography integrate, creating a depth and style which see him capturing the true essence of the subject on camera.
“I realize success when a picture captures not only the memory but the smell of the environment. I like to shoot people’s passion, their inner beauty, their story, what they have to teach, from them I learn ……… from the vision I see through the lens. Capturing the life of the subject, framed in the stillness of a moment. I try to realize the spirit, the vulnerability, something that talks by itself.
Communication was an issue for me in my youth photography became my voice, my pen to describe my feelings. In fact my mood was reflected in my pictures.
My favorite picture is the picture I am going to take tomorrow”
Gino Nalini is a member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP).
