Rock Creek Awaiting Springtime

The attractive sky and inviting late afternoon sunlight of a late February day made it easy to imagine the soon to arrive pastels and budding new growth of Springtime in this spot beside Washington's Rock Creek, looking upstream toward the P St, or Lauzun's Legion, Bridge, which connects Georgetown to Foggy Bottom across the valley. Just beyond, in this upstream view is the Lower Level P Street Bridge which is part of the Rock Creek Parkway.

The scene was shot on Fuji Neopan 400CN film in a Nikon FA,
through a Nikkor AI-S 28mm f/2.8 lens wearing yellow filter.

Schöne Tonwerte. Ich hab den Film geliebt, bis sie ihn eingestampft haben. 8-(
Nice tones. I loved the film until they scrapped it.

Thanks so much, and nice to hear from another film-lover.
Actually, while I have a freezer full of film, my experience is that film is very much still available, especially as some of the "newer" people are discovering its merits ;-) In fact, I never go out shooting without at least one film camera around my neck or in the pack!

My Fridge is full too. But not so much Neo 400 in it. Stay safe and good light.
