7Scape no. 8 - 'Train-Chains' at 40th-Lowery
Two afternoon rush-hour No. 7 Flushing Line trains meet at 40th St-Lowery St station in Queens, NYC.
The train in foreground is Manhattan-bound, while the train beyond,
full of homeward-bound commuters is headed for Flushing.
My “7Scapes” series follows the long trains of the IRT No. 7 Flushing Line as they call at stations from Grand Central through destinations in Queens, as well as the new western extension to Hudson Yards/34th Street, Manhattan.
