A Mona Lisa Smile and More...

on our way home from the beach with my 2 nieces, we passed by this hut and i asked them to stop for a picture... the result --- amazing girlish smiles... one full grin and one mona lisa smile...

i continue to thank The Desert Scorpion for photography pointers and edit. =)

Guess, so you got the highest number of comments about one pic in the fotocommunity ever. ;-))))
But I´ll will explain something which might surprise you with an e-mail.

    Hi again Dietmar (lol),
It's funny having something like an online chat that the whole world can read but I presume it's because u can't access ur email. No, I wasn't with the U.P. Concert Chorus (I'm amazed you know them) but I did sing with Ateneo College Glee Club (ACGC) when I was still studying. [Note: U.P. and Ateneo are so near each other they're accessible from the same street.] Unfortunately, my parents didn't allow me to join the European tour of ACGC which is why my mom took me to Europe in 1990, after graduation. I´m sorry, but you really make me curious again. Have you been in Europe together with the UP-Concert Chorus that time ?
  • Carina Bucu 06/06/2006 12:42

    Hi again Dietmar,
Yes, was in Italy and Germany and a few other countries in Europe in 1990. Went to Venice, Florence and Rome in Italy, Frankfurt, Berlin and Munich in Germany. If i find some of the pics I took then, I'll try to scan and post some here. Btw, yes, thanks, will need help again this week =)

I like the stories you tell .... :-))

But if you need some help again, I´m back in my office for this week. Next week we´re in Italy again, in Liguria, exactly between San Remo and Genova. Have you been in Italy already ?

    Best regards
    Dietmar

    Hi Dietmar,
No worries! Curiosity never killed the cat, being inquisitive is always welcome =).
My pictures always have some story to tell, which is why i say so much in the "Description" box. I noticed that a lot of photographers in fotocommunity don't do that. But then, i'm not a pro... i just like to take pictures. Btw, thank you!

    Hi Cari,
    I´m sorry. I shouldn´t be so inquisitive !
I like your picture because it shows the real life and most important of that: wonderful kids, the greatest treasures on earth.

    Take care
    Dietmar

    @TDS:

Hi D! Technically, they're not really my nieces but here in the Philippines, relations are valued to the 3rd degree whether by blood or by affinity. "Little Mona Lisa" is my brother-in-law's daughter and the other little girl is his wife's brother's daughter
    :-)) .......you asked!

    Enjoy Tuscany!

Guess "Little Mona Lisa" is the daughter of your brother and the other little girl of your sister. I´m right ? ;-))

    Regards from Tuscany,
    TDS
