Bern - No. 2 - View through a Passage
Bern (Berne) is the capital of Switzerland, as well
as the the seat of government of the canton of Bern.
Bern traces its origins to the 12th century.
It is situated in a crook of the Aare River (which I first enjoyed in Interlaken
as it courses in glacial aquamarine between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz).

Was there on Saturday. The old part of Bern is a Unesco world heritage.
