Diving site Elephant Head

One of the most amazing places along the Similand islands is the Elephant Head where we stayed during the first dives at early morning.
Diving in canyons and granite rocks the dive site is one of the top spots on a Thailand liveaboard.
The Elephant Head Rock, also called Hin Pusa, is located in the middle of the Similan Islands between Koh Payu (island No.7) and Koh Similan (island No.8). Three rocks that break through the water surface mark the dive site and one of them is the namesake, as it looks like an elephant's head. At this dive site it is important that you get into the water at the right time as the current here is sometimes quite strong.
