Hello...I just moved to a old building here in Madrid 4 weeks ago and Im living downstairs and had to rescue 4 now of this beautiful birds this one was the youngest and had to feed up for 10 days till he feels strong and this pic was taken yesterday before his leaving this morning in the highest of this building the nice experience of freedom could feel when I saw him fly again.
"apus apus" - very rare to see them on the ground. Guess this is accidentally. Have two hatched a month ago and ready to fly in a week or two. The fastest, most acrobatic and amazing bird in Europe.
