FOG and the Sun's Halo

taken from the sailboat about 2 hours after my previous capture with the fog totally reducing visibility - still one can see that strange halo around the sun .... VERY EERIE !!!! I did not edit this image except for a slight crop

very strange indeed! the halo reminds me of… wait, i'll write it under the other image, where it's a lot more obvious! ; ) the (quick)silvery strip of glittering water – WOW, beautiful! something exciting seems to be in the air… wouldn't be surpised to see the white whale suddenly surface somewhere… maybe it was a similar fog experience that made melville come up with the idea of moby… ; )) hugs, sabine.

Minimalistisch und doch so eindrucksvoll, wie die Sonne versucht, durchzubrechen und eine gewaltige Nebelwand scheinbar auf Dich zu gerollt kommt. Bald wird sie diese feinen Reflexe auf der Wasseroberfläche erreichen und auch für Dich gibt es kein Entrinnen mehr.
