Nice pictures from the Hadrian Wall ! Three years ago my wife and I started our walk along the Roman borders at Bowness on solway and now we are walking along the river Rhein near Koblenz to the south and we will see where we will end our trip.

  Glad you enjoyed the pictures.
  I find it difficult to take interesting photographs of the wall.
  It's a challenge for me.
  I suppose you need an interesting sky, or to have the sun illuminating the Wall in early morning or at sunset.
  Oh well.
  A few years ago - my wife and i enjoyed the Roman siye at xanten.
  It is all part of our common European heritage, i suppose.

  It is something of a challenge to get an image of the Roman Wall that is different.
  It is certainly a struggle for me.

  I occasionally walk along Hadrian's Wall.
  It is a struggle to find new and different ways to photograph it.
  
  I liked this view because the wall is big, and the tree is small.
