Horsepower

On the longest and hottest day of the year a horse enjoys a meal in the relative cool of evening above Dover Harbour. The horses are part of a managed grazing programme to return the White Cliffs area to its natural grassland vegetation.

The horse as a landscape architect and the light illuminates him perfectly. And I am fascinating of the wonderful contrast between culture and nature, which is telling stories. The image formation is excellent.
