there's obviously an almost "erotic" rapport between him and his bass. it both eludes and excludes us all, we can only guess what it's all about, but we can hear (or imagine) the music and see what it does to his face, watch the pain, elation, satisfaction manifest themselves in his self-sufficient smile. great impressive work, berthold! and a young steve mcqueen at the bass… ; ))) greetings, sabine.
