Lane in Stavelot (BE)
Nearby Belgium offers a lot of sites in old towns such as here in Stavelot. Of course it would have been perfect if someone would have walked down through this lane........I was there to visit a photo exhibition of the famous Doisneau.

yes, a historical water carrier would have been perfect, but i guess one can't have everything! ; )) what a beautiful ancient looking lane it is! the somewhat narrow and crammed appearance of it reminds me a bit of the "gängeviertel" here in hamburg as it's depicted in historical photos… with all its different textures on the walls, the facades, the ground (brick, shingles, cobblestone etc.) it makes a beautiful b/w motif! greetings, sabine.Anna und Martin 27/11/2012 8:04
