Lilac Breasted Roller

The Lilac Breasted Roller is a colurful bird normally encountered while on safari. The Lilac Breasted Roller display quite some interesting coloration when in flight. We sat and waited a few seconds for this bird to fly off its pearch to catch insects. This image was taken at Soysambu Conservancy, Lake Elementaita in Kenya while on safari.
