London Plane fruits

The graceful fruits of the London Plane tree look like small puff balls and grow in groups of 1-4 as can be seen in the picture.
They stay on the tree during the winter until they disintegrate and drop their thousands of seeds in the early springtime, which will soon happen.

Dutch name : Gewone Plataan
German name : Ahornblättrige Platane
Latin name : Platanus hispanica
