The Brabant Draft Horse belongs to the world famous Belgian draft horse breeds.
With its heavy muscling, the Brabant Draft is one of the strongest draft horse breeds in the world and weights more than 1 ton !
At the end of the 19th century, Belgian draft horses became very highly sought and many of them were exported for use all over Europe, Russia and America.
Recently there has been a boom of interest in the USA for this heavy draft breed.
Dutch name : Brabants Trekpaard (ook Brabantse Vos genaamd)
German name : Brabanter Kaltblut
Latin name : Equus caballus
