Once a Corner Grocery Store (7)

now a little town- house (11th Avenue) - and just a few blocks from where I live ..
please note that all corner stores in this series are within 30 minutes walking distance from my house - but I walk fast :-)))

before supermarkets Vancouver had many, many little corner grocery stores in every neighbourhood (the entrance door being on the corner) .... some still remain, but many have been converted to other stores, cafes, art galleries and living quarters - I love them as they take away from the impersonality of the big stores.

"Once a Corner Grocery Store" is a really great series. I like it very much. For me it also has the charme of seeing inside a foreign country.

An other good picture that I like ...this little house remind me some of houses in Québec... with this charming fence.
A pretty tree with so nice spring flowers !
