Pencil of Nature - Shell #1

My series "Pencil of Nature" is based on monochrome depictions of the wonderful forms and structures in nature. Due to the current restrictions - I think many do that - I got back to home photography. One of my shells we collected during our former trips to Britany was so interesting....accomplished by focus stacking (my first try... )

Der Stack ist ja absolut genial gelungen...! Ich bin fasziniert... sowohl von der fotografischen Arbeit wie auch vom Motiv selber...

  Danke, freut mich wenn’s dir gefällt. Bei der Auflösung hier geht allerdings noch was verloren. Habe vor, das Ganze groß drucken zu lassen. LG Berthold

  Ja? Vielleicht in ganz gross, aber nur so auf dem Bildschirm sieht es extrem gestochen scharf und super aufgelöst aus! :-)

presentation in black and white with the background setting

Hallo Berthold,
your work looks really interesting and I think it is well done. I never tried focus stacking so far and have no experience with it. I think Black and white is a good choice for that picture.
