I appreciate all your comments... The good & the bad...altough I prefer the good ones of course :)

To explain what I meant by "not an original idea", my friend and I went for a day trip a few days earlier and she found a similar looking object on a path and took some beautiful shots (with the help of "nature"... she'll know what I mean when she reads this ;] ).

Since she is a great inspiration to me I could not resist having a go myself. I didn't look for the feather specifically though when I spotted it in the leaves I knew it would be "mine".

BTW I did not colour balance the picture at all, only added the frame around it in Photoshop. It is purely, as I found it...

I must admit it is one of my favourite shots and I was just lucky that it come out like this...
