Hi Jost. Your comment is valued to me, indeed! Before moving to US I lived in Hamburg for some years, where I've fallen in love with its port-area forever. That is why your story about Peking' next-year-travel home for restauration has touched me so much. It's entirely appreciated, thank you. Would be nice to meet her there at docks for photo-shooting.. I hope the Blohm & Voss Docks are reachable for tourists somehow.

Nice photo of the PEKING. She is going to be brought back to her homeport of Hamburg for restauration next year. I am curious to see her there at the Blohm & Voss Docks which is just a one hour drive from my hometown of Bremen. The PEKING is one of a series of sailing ships called "Flying P Liners", their names all starting with the letter "P", built for the famous LAEISZ shipping company in Hamburg.
