she looks tough and resilient in this shot. a lot less vulnerable than in the other image. in the close-up it seems as though you captured her in an unguarded moment: her hidden emotions seem to well up for a second and show on her face, as though she's suddenly seeing herself, as the camera must see her: an old lady hustling, trying to stay alive, dreading the moment when her legs, her eyes, her strength, her savvy will fail her… in this shot, though, she's nobody's fool: a strong-willed survivor, carrying herself straight and with pride! a great documentary shot, glenn! i like how you included the everyday activity of the market in it. greetings, sabine.
