Galerius Arch, one of the most emblematic roman monuments of Thessaloniki built at the early 4th century AD by Galerius which together with the nearby Rotonda seen at the far end of the street( now St George Orthodox church) formed part of his imperial palace complex.

    ...very fine monument...you can see by this reliefs that roman culture and art was getting down...Unfortunately I've never been to Thessaloniki...Friendly, Ansgar
