Holland
...just few miles away from Amsterdam I got struck by a Wermeerian landscape
in front of my eyes.Not posessing any talent for drawing I settled to simply lift my camera and press the shutter....

It is a wonderful area with all of those windmills.....a real paradise for artists and photographers alike.

one of those places sancho panza must have dreaded as much as don quixote must have adored it, if the two of them ever made it all the way up to the netherlands, that is: a whole army of winged enemies to tackle! ; ) you are absolutely right: the vermeerian touch to the scenery is quite striking! i particularly like the vast sky, its reflection in the water, and the distant painterly lanscape of cows and windmills "scraping the dramatic sky"! greetings, sabine.
