With my 2nd visit at the blacksmith I could shoot some more photos of him and his workplace. I'm planning to continue this topic to document old handcrafts as in today's world it seems that they are vanishing - at least in our surrounding.
Here I captured some of his tools and he proudly explained that a blacksmith produces them mainly himself - so here you see some early results of his work.

jack of all trades… and master of them all ; )))! amazing that he himself makes his own tools!! great shot of the archaic looking tongs – strangely enough, they remind me of tooth roots, and have me think of the times when the local blacksmith was also your dentist – yikes!! jack of all trades… ; )) greetings, sabine.
