CBP_3726. Sand

Jahrelang schon beobachte ich diesen Busch. Ursprünglich war er gross und floss beinah wie ein Wasserfall die Düne hinab, jetzt nach einigen Sandstürmen ist nur noch das übrig geblieben. Hoffentlich weht der Sand auch wieder weg beim naechsten Sandsturm.

I have been watching this bush for years. Originally it was a big bush cascading down the dune.Now this is all that is left, although it does look healthy and free. Hopefully the next sandstorm will remove some of the sand so the it can again be a bigger bush.

I love the ambiguity of scale in this image - the foreground dune looks so large, yet the bush, intuitively, looks so small. A brilliant piece of photography.

Tja, das Leben in den Dünen ist schwierig. Bin mal gespannt, ob du alsbald Veränderungen findest.
Ansonsten meine ich: Typisch Blatt die Schatten und insbesondere die feinen Farben.

Ich mag diese weichen, fließenden Formen, wie sie immer wieder von Sand und Wind umgestaltet werden. Der kleine Busch wird vielleicht schon bald wieder in voller Pracht erbühen... ich bin gespannt, wie die Geschichte weiter geht.

Das schaut fast schon surreal aus. Vom Busch ist nicht mehr viel zu sehen.
