Deadwood Saloon on a Snowy South Dakota Night
As I recall it was quite late on this snowy night in South Dakota, in January 2001, as a friend and I explored the
mainly deserted streets. So I'm guessing even the heartiest imbibers had enjoyed the last round and headed home.
And hopefully the sign inside the door reminded them to beware the step leading to the snowy sidewalk.
From a film image. Yep, that much I remember ;-)
The photo makes its first appearance as the wind howls on a none too typical chilly May night and its
creator maintains his "social distancing".by getting up close and personal with some vintage filmic memories.

Many a tales from Deadwood Steve, maybe it's better you don't recall all the details of that late snowy night... It's nice how the falling snow softened up the photograph, pretty cool.
