Glacier Express on Landwasser Viadukt

Seen on a golden autumn late afternoon, the St Moritz-bound Glacier Express crosses this magnificent
curving stone bridge spanning the canyon of the Landwasser River in Switzerland's Canton Graubünden.

The train of panorama carriages is being pulled by one of the Rhaetian Railway's handsome
Ge4/4 Type III electric locomotives over this ruggedly scenic portion of the Albula Line.

The train will shortly enter a tunnel high in the rockface (*), before emerging in daylight to make its next stop at Filisur.
