Fox Tail

A single seedhead of a grassy plant that is considered a weed and is a bane to gardeners and farmers. It grows in disturbed or poor soils. Being a grass makes it hard to control. Yet I find the seedhead attractive.

your high contrast rendering brings out the prickly/bushy textures of the seedhead well! besides making a nice monochrome abstract, your image also powerfully illustrates, why it was it was given the name "fox tail"! greetings, sabine.
