Looking at Them

The North Cape

North Cape is a cape on the northern coast of the island of Magerøya in Northern Norway. The European route E69 motorway has its northern terminus at North Cape, which makes it the northernmost point in Europe that can be accessed by car . The cape includes a 307-metre-high cliff with a large flat plateau on top, where visitors can watch the midnight sun and views of the Barents Sea to the north. This image shows that the North Cape is actually not the most northern point of Europe ..
This - of course - is a view from the bow of our cruiseship with many people getting a look of the people on top of the rocky platform.

Eine tolle Aussicht....was mich stört ist die Aussichtsplattform und das Gewusel von Menschen. Habe nach dem Studieren von Bildbänden und den anschließend real erlebten Gegebenheiten böse Erfahrungen gemacht! Nein...so möchte ich es vorläufig nicht erleben. Eure Seglerromantik gefällt mir besser!!

  thank you, Bernd, but considering that there were about 2000 passengers on board of the ship, only these few went outside to get a better view :-))))

  looking through windows, but that was very limited - some did not know that the bow was open for this viewing experience - only photographers will brave any weather - ha, ha !!!
