in the Hall of Peter The Great at the amazing Winter Palace - now the Hermitage Museum
I was there with a busload of tourists ... for each photo I stayed behind and tried to capture the architecture without people ... no flash used :-)

Nach der sinnlosen fast, dreijährigen Blockade Leningrads und deren Ende vor genau 70 Jahren am 27.01.1944 ist die Stadt heute wieder eine attraktive Großstadt.Schön, daß Du uns zahlreiche wunderbare Bilder aus dieser Stadt gezeigt hast.
