Sunrise at Tsondab
Namibai : The area of Sossus Vlei is transversed by the Tsauchab, a huge "river bed"coming from the mountain range Khomas Hochland and winding westwards towards the sea.In a good rainy season It carries water for a few days only ending at Sossus Vlei where the dunes block it's way to the sea. Sossus Vlei is well known by international tourists. Further north a similar "dry river" , the Tsondab, also runs westwards - it is equally spectacular. There is a privately owned small lodge, quite untouched by tourism.
Nördlich von Tsauchab, der am Sossus Vlei ended, liegt der Tsondab ein trocken Rivier wie der Tsauchab auch. In einer guten Regensaison führen Beide nur fuer ein paar Tage Wasser.Tsondab ist auch Atem beraubend schoen, dort ist eine kleine Lodge in Privatbesitz und fast unberührt.
